Cocktail and drink photography in Philadelphia
Cocktail lists, pours, coffee and the bar itself, for bars, restaurants and cafés.
Drinks are harder to shoot than food. Ice melts, bubbles die, glass shows every fingerprint. The trick is to shoot fast and shoot it fresh.
What I shoot for bars
- The cocktail list, one drink at a time, so every drink matches.
- Pours, shakes and garnishes, with your bartender's hands in frame.
- Beer, wine and spritzes for the menu and the specials board.
- The bar itself, set up and ready, before the room fills.
Coffee and café drinks
Latte art doesn't last long. Neither does foam. I shoot coffee the same way as cocktails: made right, shot right away, one at a time.
How a drink shoot works
We pick the drinks ahead of time. On the day your bartender builds each one fresh, I shoot it while the ice is still clear, and we move to the next. Clear drinks get light from behind so they glow. Colored ones get hard side light so the color reads.

Pricing
A couple of new drinks fits a $250 dish drop. A full cocktail menu is a menu shoot, $500 for a half day or $950 for a full day. Monthly content is $600 a month. See pricing.
Questions people ask
Can you shoot the pour?
Yes. Pours, shakes, the garnish going in. Your bartender makes the drink and I catch it as it happens.
Does a bartender need to be there?
Yes. The drinks should be made the way you serve them, by the person who makes them. I'll ask for fresh ice and one drink at a time.
Do you shoot bottles for liquor brands?
Not right now. I shoot drinks for the bars, restaurants and cafés that serve them.
How much is a cocktail menu shoot?
A new cocktail or two fits a $250 dish drop (one hour, six photos). A full cocktail list is a menu shoot: $500 for a half day, $950 for a full day. See pricing.
